Representatives from SWIFT and SIX will be joined by speakers from the London Stock Exchange and Commerzbank for Global Custodian’s Collaborate to Innovate event this Thursday 27 October.
The panel discussion will focus on how collaboration is increasingly becoming the solution along the investment chain whether it is around data, collateral or technology.
Recent examples have been SIX teaming up with Clearstream, DTCC and Euroclear partnering on collateral, and custodians joining various blockchain initiatives together.
Where once competitors would solely see each other as rivals, bigger issues and threats in the industry have prevailed and the time has come to work together to strengthen the future of the securities services industry.
The speakers for the event include SWIFT’s head of securities markets and FX, Keith Tippell and Simon Streule,
managing director,
strategy & business support,
SIX Securities Services. Also joining the discussion will be Commerzbank’s head of market services, Rob Scott and LSE’s Andrea Tranquillini.
