Societe Generale Securities Services (SGSS) has been appointed by Alpha Real Capital to provide custody and depositary services for a new UK property fund.

The mandate for Alpha Real Capital’s new UK Property Authorised Investment Fund (PAIF) represents SGSS’ first real estate client for its UK business.

The investment manager focused on real assets said it selected Societe Generale because of its extensive European real estate experience that has been extended to the UK and willingness to be flexible in the development of a joint operating model”.

The index linked income fund Societe Generale will serve invests in portfolios of UK ground rent assets to provide a long-term secure and predictable inflation-linked income stream with associated capital growth.

We are very pleased to be working with SGSS at this important juncture in the fund’s development and growth,” said Karl Devon-Lowe, chief financial officer, Alpha Real Capital.
