Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking appoints Marie-Christine Ducholet and Pierre-Yves Bonnet Heads of Strategic & Acquisition Finance within the Capital Raising and Financing division. They succeed Jean-Marc Giraud who will head up the new “Global Capital Markets” business line.
Marie-Christine Ducholet joined Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking in 1985. From 1990 until 2001, she held senior positions in the Real Estate and Structured Commodity Oil and Gas teams. She joined the Strategic and Acquisition Finance team in 2001 as a Managing Director, responsible for a portfolio of French and Spanish corporates and later for all European activities. In 2007, she was appointed Deputy Head of Strategic and Acquisition Finance.
Marie-Christine graduated from HEC.
Pierre-Yves Bonnet joined Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking’s Equity Capital Markets origination team in 2001 where he was Managing Director, responsible for the Financial Institutions, Automotive, Infrastructure and Real Estate sectors. He previously spent two years as a consultant for McKinsey & Company and prior to that, he spent four years as a government official within the Ministry of Economy and Finance. Inspecteur des Finances, Pierre-Yves graduated from Ecole Supérieure de ComPolitiques de Paris, and Ecole Nationale d’administration.
