Snitzer Takes Over from Probert as ISITC Chair

ISITC (International Securities Association for Institutional Trade Communication) the industry trade group focused on standards in transaction processing and related communications, has appointed Jan Ellis Snitzer to serve as the organizations chair for the 2012-2013 tenure. Snitzer is currently vice president at Loomis, Sayles & Co. and will be taking over chairmanship from Gary Probert, who completed his two-year term as chair in December 2011.

As chair, Snitzer will act as president and CEO of ISITC and preside at all board meetings. Her duties will include supervising and controlling ISITCs affairs during her term, as well as acting on behalf of ISITC with regard to contracts and other documents.

Snitzer has been a member of ISITC since 2001 and has served on the ISITC North America Board of Directors as well as acted as the executive sponsor for the ISITC Investment Management Forum and the Technology & Standards Working Group. She most recently held the position of first vice chair, from which she automatically succeeds to the position of chair.

I am delighted to continue my work with ISITC as chair of the organization. I truly believe in the founding vision of ISITC to bring standards to the industry and Im both excited and proud to lead this organization over the next two years, states Snitzer.

Probert, who served as ISITC Chair 2010-2011, will continue contributing to ISITC as part of the Executive Board.
