SmartStream Technologies has announced the opening of a new office in Frankfurt and also the appointment of a Country Manager – Lutz Meissner.
SmartStream Technologies has already established a formidable presence in Germany, where its customer base is made up of the country’s leading financial institutions, including Deutsche Bank, Commerzbank, Dresdner Group, WestLB and HypoVereinsbank. The organisation plans further significant growth in Germany, viewing it as a key market for its best of breed transaction management solutions.
Lutz Meissner brings local market knowledge and a track record in strategic sales in Germany to SmartStream Technologies. Previously he held the position of Sales Director at Mercator, where he increased sales in Germany by 300% over a three-year period.
Speaking on his appointment Meissner said: “I welcome the opportunity to work for a global leader in its field. I have been particularly impressed by the company’s strong customer base and also by the quality of its leading-edge products. I am looking forward to representing SmartStream Technologies in Germany and building on the strong presence the company has already achieved here.”
