Technologies’ reconciliation products have been awarded Gold accreditation every year since the programme began in 1998.

The SWIFT Partner Solutions’ global label programme certifies third party applications that support SWIFT functionality and messages by accrediting functionality as well as validating the integration of third party applications into SWIFTAlliance interfaces and providers of SWIFT-related services.

In order to receive the accreditation SmartStream demonstrated that Corona and SSR can deliver connectivity to SWIFTAlliance; manage the new ISO 15022 message types; provide rules based processing; deploy event triggers to enable reconciliations to form a part of the overall management of the trade lifecycle; perform transaction to settlement matching, enabling a relation to be made between a line of statement and the underlying transaction that led to the movement e.g. an FX confirmation to a cash movement or a securities trade to the movement in a position; and deliver an integrated exception management capability.

“We are delighted to award SmartStream the Gold accreditation for Cash and Securities Reconciliation for both SSR and Corona,” says Victor Abbeloos, Head of Partner Solutions at SWIFT. “Despite the requirements growing year on year, SmartStream’s forward thinking development strategy has enabled it to consistently achieve the highest level of accreditation for its products.”

Martin Brown, CEO, SmartStream Technologies, added: “We have always regarded Gold accreditation as one of our very highest priorities and I am personally delighted that the award has been made once again. Its our financial strength and level of investment that underpins our ability to consistently achieve the highest standards for our products ? this is the key way we maintain our position as market leader.”
