SmartStream Hires Daniel Pedersen as Sales Director

SmartStream Technologies, the financial Transaction Lifecycle Management (TLM) specialist, has hired Daniel Pedersen as head of sales and business development in Europe.

Pedersen has over 20 years experience in the financial services industry, and his move to SmartStream represents part of the company’s plan to continue its European expansion. Pedersen will be reporting to Philippe Chambadal, CEO of SmartStream, who stated that Pedersen’s multilingual abilities will be advantageous within his new role.

Prior to joining SmartStream, Pedersen worked at MSCI, following its acquisition in 2010. He previously spent four years at RiskMetrics, where he held a number of sales and sales management roles. Pedersen has also worked for BNP Paribas, as well as covering Scandinavia and Germany’s markets, as part of his position in Sales and Structuring for Global Markets at Deutsche Bank.
