Skandia Investment Group (SIG) has appointed Rupert Watson as Asset Allocation Strategist. Watson will report into SIG’s Chief Research Officer, Tom Berger, and will be responsible for the team providing strategic and tactical asset allocation advice. He will also join SIG’s Global Asset Allocation Committee.
Rupert Watson started his career at the Bank of England in 1994, and has held senior portfolio management positions at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, BlackRock Investment Management and Investec Asset Management.
The appointment of Rupert Watson is the 26th appointment by SIG over the past year.
