The clearing and risk management services of SIX x-clear, the clearing arm of SIX Securities Services, are now available on Turquoise, the equities and derivatives multilateral trading facility (MTF).
Earlier this year SIX x-clear became interoperable on BATS Chi-X, one of the worlds largest MTFs following a merger of the two facilities last year.
SIX says the interoperability agreements with the MTFs offer clients greater choice, increased competition and lower end-to-end costs. The firm says it will now focus on launching interoperable services for the Nordic markets on platforms such as NASDAQ OMX Nordic and Burgundy.
