SIX Telekurs signed an agreement with XData, the Dubai-based market data solutions provider. The agreement names XData to become SIX Telekurss primary source for weekday real-time pricing from the exchanges in the Middle East. These include Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ABU), Bahrain Stock Exchange (BSH), Dubai Financial Market (DFM), Dubai Gold and

Commodities Exchange (DGX), Kuwait Stock Exchange (KUW), Muscat Securities Market (MSM), Nasdaq Dubai (DIF), Qatar Exchange (DOH) and Tadawul/Saudi Stock Quotes (SAU).

SIX Telekurs will access the feeds via the XD[TickerPlant], which is XDatas ultra-low latency information dissemination platform, running on top of its proprietary infrastructure XD[XtraNet]. This infrastructure provides market data in raw and unified data formats, as well as through unified APIs.

Our data already covers the global markets, but we are continually looking for ways to break new ground, explains Ivo Bieri, Head Marketing SIX Telekurs. With the Middle Eastern feeds of XData, we can provide customers with enhanced access to data from those emerging markets accross our entire product range.

This agreement seems to be an ideal match between XData and SIX Telekurs as we will leverage on SIX Telekurss global customer base and XDatas proprietary network, says Nezar Freeny, CEO of XData. We have seen strong demand for market data feeds from international customers, and with our local and technical expertise in providing exchange connectivity and real-time market data feeds, we are delighted to sign this agreement with SIX Telekurs.
