The shares of Transocean Ltd. have been listed in accordance with the Main Standard and are traded on SIX Swiss Exchange for the first time. The opening price was CHF 95.20. This corresponds to a market capitalisation of CHF 31.9 billion. In accordance with the index regulations, the company will be added to the SPI after close of trading on 20 April 2010, effective 21 April 2010.
On account of the company’s size in terms of its free float market capitalization, the Management Committee of SIX Swiss Exchange is considering taking the extraordinary step of including the share in the SMI and SLI.
According to the listing prospectus, 335,235,298 registered shares with a nominal value of CHF 15.00 were registered in the Commercial Register.
