TIBCO Software Inc., a business integration and process management software company, announced that SSC (Shared Service Center), the IT partner of Pirelli and Telecom Italia, is the first TIBCO customer to achieve certification with TIBCO’s Corporate Integration Program Assessment and Certification that is meant to drive industry adoption of a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).

TIBCO’s Corporate Integration Program Assessment and Certification is a review of the business, organizational and technical aspects of a customer’s integration program. It also compares the customer’s approach to the methodology, best practices and tools found in the TIBCO Accelerated Value Framework (AVF).

The six-year-old program enables customers to effectively leverage their current investments to build a SOA that improves business processes, lowers development and maintenance costs and provides the ability to react quickly to changing business requirements.

“TIBCO’s Corporate Integration Program Assessment and Certification adds value to our customers by helping them leverage and use TIBCO products more effectively,” a TIBCO spokesperson said. “This ensures that they extract greater ROI from their IT investments.”
