Societe Generale Securities Services (SGSS) has launched SGSS GALLERY, its revamped European-client Internet portal for reporting services for fund administration and custody.
The portal replaces SGSS GLASS, and the new system centralizes information for clients across the board, from asset managers and institutional investors to banks and brokers. For fund administration, the new portal adds customizable reports, and for local and global custody clients, the new portal also provides customizable reports for items such as cash statements, contract notes and securities positions and movements.
Still to come, the portal will also add multi-local custody asset reports and transfer agent reports, up-to-date local market bulletins, legal and tax news flashes, and value-added liquidity management options such as securities lending and FX reports.
The portal has been progressively rolled out to over 4,000 clients throughout Western Europe and is likely to produce over a million reports a year, the main types of which are cash statements, contract notes reports, inventories and securities movements, and custody reports are predominant over fund administration reports. Starting this summer, the platform will be progressively rolled out in Central and Eastern Europe and extended to Africa by the end of the year.
