SGSS Launches Global Fund Distribution Hub in Luxembourg

SGSS has launched a fund distribution hub in Luxembourg to assist asset managers seeking to distribute UCITS and alternative investment funds internationally.

Asset managers can now access a wide-ranging local and cross-border network in Europe and Asia, through one single fund distribution interface.

SGSS staff will work in conjunction with local representative agent support services, to facilitate fund distribution across 14 countries.

The distribution hub is capable of managing the fund registration process, alongside local regulatory authorities, on behalf of asset management firms.

The local representative agent will provide five main services: fund registration management, market access, investor inquiry monitoring, local market intelligence and administrative and legal support.

SGSS shall be responsible for managing the various local representative agents, and provide a consolidated overview of fund activity, in order to enable fund distribution.
