Societe Generale Securities Services (SGSS) has appointed Gabriele Pollastri as head of sales and relationship management for Italy and Spain.
Pollastri, based in Milan, was appointed October 8. He joins SGSS from the Italian branch of The Bank of New York Mellon (Luxembourg) S.A., where he was deputy general manager.
In the newly created role, Pollastri will lead SGSS sales and relationship management initiatives across Southern Europe, particularly Italy and Spain.
SGSS in Italy offers settlement, custody and trustee services, fund administration, liquidity management and transfer agent services. In Spain, it provides local and global custody, trustee services, fund and portfolio administration, transfer agency services and issuer services to domestic and international institutional investors, fund managers and financial intermediaries.
