Societe Generale Securities Services has appointed Philippe Huerre as deputy head of emerging markets. He will work alongside Ramy Bourgi, head of emerging markets for SGSS.
Huerres role will be to support and develop SGSSs position in emerging markets, where it provides securities services to domestic and international investors. Since 2007, SGSS has rapidly expanded its presence in these markets and is now providing a range of services to clients in 28 countries, including a strong presence in Africa and Eastern Europe.
In 2010 SGSS further broadened its geographical reach in the Gulf States through a commercial agreement with the National Bank of Abu Dhabi.
