Northern Trust has named Timothy J. Theriault, currently President, Worldwide Operations and Technology, as President, Corporate and Institutional Services. The position has been managed by Frederick H. Waddell since his appointment in February as President and Chief Operating Officer of the Corporation. Theriault will report to Waddell.
Jana R. Schreuder, Executive Vice President and Head of Corporate Risk Management, has been named President, Worldwide Operations and Technology, replacing Theriault. Schreuder will report to Waddell.
Kelly R. Welsh, Executive Vice President and General Counsel, will assume Schreuder’s Risk Management duties in addition to his Legal Department responsibilities. Welsh will continue to report to William A. Osborn, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
Additionally, Stephen N. Potter, Executive Vice President and head of Northern Trust’s International and Global Fund Services Segment since 2002, will assume management responsibility for all of Northern Trust’s activities in the U.K. and Europe, in addition to his other international responsibilities, and has been named to the Corporation’s Management Committee. Potter will report to Theriault.
