SEI, the provider of outsourced asset management, investment processing and investment operations solutions, has appointed Brandon Sharrett as Managing Director of its Global Private Banking business in Europe, the Middle East and South Africa.
Sharrett, who will report to Joseph Ujobai, Executive Vice President of SEI and head of the Global Private Banking unit, will be responsible for building SEI’s business in the region by providing SEI’s recently launched Global Wealth Services and asset management solutions to private banks, wealth managers, advisers and distributors.
Sharrett’s career at SEI has spanned 13 years. He joined the US Private Banking & Trust business in 1993 and has held various sales, sales management and business unit leadership roles in that time. He was instrumental in building the investment processing outsourcing business in the mid-nineties. His most recent role was Senior Vice President and Managing Director for the Community and Regional Bank and Private Trust Company Market Unit, which accounted for USD100 million of SEI’s annual revenues and serves 250 institutions in the US.
