The 2nd Annual Enterprise Data Management Summit, “Technical Strategies and Solutions for Governing, Securing, Utilizing and Managing Your Enterprise’s Sensitive Data,” will be held May 31 at the Union League Club in New York City.

As financial firms face rising costs and increasing data management and security issues, industry awareness has strengthened demands for the improvement of data quality through a set of across-the-board standards and the implementation of consistent data framework.

The panel session, “Update on Standards – Establishing an Internal & External EDM Framework,” will be moderated by Michael Atkin, managing director of the Enterprise Data Management Council. Atkin will facilitate the conversation through audience and panel discussion about standards for data infrastructure, markup at origination and more transparent data manufacturing processes.
