Investment News is reporting that The Securities and Exchange Commission has settled a case with the American Stock Exchange, as well as beginning proceedings against Salvatore F. Sodano, it’s former chief executive for failures in the enforcement of compliance at the exchange. The exchange have agreed to amend it’s procedures and hire an independent consultant.
