BNP Paribas Securities Services has promoted industry veteran Scott Dickinson to a larger relationship management role. He will now head up global relationship management in London, covering both institutional investors and financial intermediaries. He reports jointly to Margaret Harwood-Jones, Head of Client Segment -Institutional Investors and Steve Chew, Head of Client Segment – Financial Intermediaries.

Dikinson, who joined BNP Paribas from Rabobank in September 2004, was previously a Senior Global Relationship Manager covering Institutional Investor clients. Before his spell at Rabobank, where he concentrated on securities lending within the Group Treasury Products, Dickinson served for many years at Bankers Trust, as a Managing Director of Global Institutional Services, including a period after its sale to Deutsche Bank.

“Scott’s experience and the depth of his portfolio of contacts have helped to boost BNP Paribas’ business with institutional investors,” says Steve Chew. “In bringing together both institutional investor and financial intermediary Global Relationship Management teams under his responsibility, we are confident that this will bring synergies and help us to further improve our client focus in the increasingly complex securities services marketplace. In addition he brings a wealth of experience in managing senior relationship teams, and the financial intermediaries segment will benefit greatly from this.”
