Sapient Global Markets, part of Sapient and a provider of services to institutional financial and commodity markets participants, announces that Deborah Overdeput has joined the company as head of marketing.
Deborah has more than 20 years of experience in building and leading product and marketing strategies for global organizations in the technology, financial services and energy industries. Before joining Sapient Global Markets, Deborah worked for Asset Control, a data management solutions provider where she worked to reposition the firm from a technology provider to a business solutions partner. Prior, Deborah worked for SunGard’s wealth management and brokerage business where she was instrumental in uncovering new revenue opportunities, building value-added partnerships, improving quality and developing effective and measurable marketing programs.
“Over the course of her career, Deborah has gained valuable experience implementing marketing strategy, building brand visibility, and leveraging partnership opportunities,” said Chip Register, SVP and managing director, Sapient Global Markets. “Deborah’s knowledge of financial industry trends coupled with her ability to understand client issues will be valuable as we work to expand our business practice and raise our global profile.”
Earlier in her career, Deborah was international marketing manager and product manager at SWIFT SA in Brussels, Belgium, and a rocket scientist/programmer at CS Draper Laboratory, one of the top engineering companies in the US. She received her BS in Interdisciplinary Mathematics with an emphasis in Computer Science from the University of New Hampshire. She is a volunteer mentor with the UNH Pathways program, a chair member of the UNH Boston Executive Forum, and has served on numerous committees and boards for non-profit organizations in Portugal, Boston, and New Hampshire.
