Alternatives fund administrator SANNE has appointed the former global head of trust and fiduciary services at Standard Chartered to lead its Mauritius office.

Peter Nagle has been appointed the new country head for Mauritius, and will be responsible for providing guidance and support to the local client service leadership teams based on the island.

SANNE’s Mauritius office is the second largest staffed office across the administrator’s global network, with more than 200 clients service staff.

Nagle has over 30 years of securities services experience, most recently responsible for Standard Chartered’s strategy and P&L for the trustee and fiduciary product line. He also sat on the board of Standard Chartered’s entities in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore.

He also worked at JP Morgan for over 13 years as head of business development for the EMEA trust and fiduciary services business. Nagle also served as head of custody and trustee operations for Baring Asset Management.

“Peter is fully aligned with our strategic vision of being a leader in alternative asset and corporate administration services. I am certain that his unique skill set, valuable industry experience and leadership will be a significant advantage for the business,” said Martin Schnaier, chief commercial officer, SANNE.
