The first exchange-traded fund (ETF) on the Standard & Poors 500 U.S. benchmark index started trading on the XTF segment of Deutsche Borse’s today.
The iShares S&P 500 ETF, managed by Barclays Global Investors (BGI), is the sixth ETF on a U.S. index to be listed in the XTF segment. Investors can already trade ETFs on the Dow Jones Industrial Average, Dow Jones US Large Cap, Dow Jones US Technology and MSCI USA Information Technology.
