Markit, a financial information services company, hires Sal Naro as Executive Vice President and Global Co-Head of Equities, Commodities and Risk Management.
Situated in New York office Sal Naro will promote Markits strategies in collaboration with London-based Executive Vice President Niall Cameron.
Holding B.S. in Business Administration from Long Island University Sal Naro experienced senior positions at Bear Stearns, Sailfish Capital Partners and UBS. In UBS he was responsible for trading, syndication and research for all credit markets.
Sal’s appointment to Markit’s global executive team marks an important step in positioning the firm for the future, and will complement the existing leadership group while strengthening our U.S. presence across a variety of businesses, says Lance Uggla, chief executive officer, Markit.
