Saheed Awan has been appointed head of Euroclears Collateral Management Product Management team.
Awan was director and head of global securities financing at Clearstream from 1993 to 2008. After that, he worked for two years as a consultant, then joined GCMS (Global Collateral Management Services) as a partner. Most recently, he was partner and European head of DerivaTrust, a peer-peer financial instrument and OTC derivatives discovery platform.
Saheed has many years of market experience, much of which has been dedicated to the collateral management business, says Jo Van de Velde, managing director and head of Product Management at Euroclear.
