Private Equity Fund Services business of JPMorgan Worldwide Securities Services has been appointed by Marshall Capital Partners, a Russian private equity firm, to provide private equity fund administration. Marshall Capital, whose investors include Russian institutional and international investors, has $2.5 billion of assets under management.

The appointment is JPMorgan’s first for its Private Equity Fund Services in Russia. Marshall Capital is an existing client of JPMorgan Treasury & Securities Services, which provides escrow and global cash management services for the firm.

“Our quality reputation and superior service delivery, our existing relationship and our strong Corporate Banking presence in our Moscow office helped us to extend our relationship with Marshall Capital,” says Huw Jones, regional head of JPMorgan Private Equity Fund Services in EMEA. “During these turbulent market conditions, private equity firms and their investors are increasingly looking to work with a trusted provider of independent administration, like J.P. Morgan”
