Confluence, the Pittsburgh-based provider of technology to fund managers, says Julian Naylor has joined the company as Managing Director of its London operation. His role is to lead international strategic product development, sales and marketing, and professional services operations for Confluence’s fund administration technology.

Naylor most recently headed the London-based client and application services division of the Software House of the Bank of New York Europe and its proprietary retail fund servicing platform, RUFUS. Prior to Bank of New York, Naylor worked for DST International (DSTi) and held a variety of investment technology consulting and software development management positions.

“We are fortunate to have recruited a dynamic leader like Julian Naylor to continue to grow our presence as the global fund administration platform leader,” says Mark Evans, President and CEO of Confluence. “His extensive fund services technology experience and demonstrated track record in international market development and innovation make him an excellent addition to the Confluence senior management team.”

The Confluence fund administration platform offers performance calculation, financial statements, and compliance reporting. It supports retail funds and institutional products, hedge funds, separate accounts, and exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

“Confluence’s reputation as the leading fund administration platform is already established in both Europe and Asia,” says Naylor. “The platform’s flexibility to support global managed investment products including multiple types of retail and institutional instruments creates tremendous market potential.”
