Royalblue has recruited David Bull and Ian Salmon as part of the expansion of the product management team for its Fidessa products.
“These appointments underline Fidessa’s growing success in new business areas. The addition of integrated market data into Fidessa, along with our push into continental Europe have opened up numerous opportunities for us,” says Simon Barnby, business development manager for Fidessa. “David and Ian will play key roles in our continued success.”
David Bull, formally product manager for TOPIC and GlobalTOPIC at Thomson Financial, joins as product manager focussing on market data for Fidessa Workstation and the expansion of the data services into the entire Fidessa product suite.
“I know first hand that Fidessa is the product of choice with clients, and I now look forward to using my recent experience to help enhance the Fidessa market data solution and further extend its commanding position in the marketplace,” says Bull.
Ian Salmon, formally global institutional equity marketing manager at Reuters, and more recently at the Swiss Stock Exchange, joins as product manager working on Fidessa’s continued growth into continental Europe and the extension of Fidessa into list trading.
“The opportunities that exist throughout continental Europe for Fidessa are immense,” says Salmon. “The move to support list trading will also unlock a wealth of business opportunities and I am keen to help Fidessa target this new area.”
