Rodolfo Straub, head of capital markets at the Zurcher Kantonalbank, will take over as head of admission at the SWX Swiss Exchange in the fourth quarter of 2007.
Straub will succeed Daniel Keist, who will be leaving the company at the end of July.
As head of capital markets at ZKB since 1999, Straub has been responsible for consulting and acquiring capital market clients, as well as for handling transaction mandates. He was also the vice president of the Issuance Committee of Swiss Cantonal Banks and, since 2003, deputy director of the central Pfandbrief issuance agency for the Swiss cantonal banks.
“Rodolfo Straub will bring an enormous amount of professional knowledge and experience to SWX and is highly familiar with our interfaces,” says Heinrich Henckel, CEO of the SWX Swiss Exchange. “We are pleased that his qualifications and personality have met with such unequivocal recognition: both the recommendation of the executive committee of the admission board and his election by the SWX Board of Directors were unanimous decisions.”
