Deutsche Bank says that Robert Scott has joined the bank as a Managing Director and Global Head of Securities Clearing. He will be based in London and will report to Roger Harrold, the Global Head of Domestic Custody Services.
In this new role, Scott is charged with bringing together all the clearing related products and services across all the 28 markets in which the custody arm of the bank offers a service. His responsibilities will include product innovation, strategic planning, client service and business development with broker dealers and other financial institutions. The initial focus will be on the European markets.
“We are strengthening our focus on developing new business with broker dealers in Europe, and the seniority of this new appointment demonstrates our commitment to this important client segment,” says Harrold.
