Robert McPherson Resigns From Fortis Hedge Fund Administration Business In Hong Kong

Hong Kong-based Robert Mcpherson, who ran the Fortis hedge fund administration business in Asia in conjunction with Tim Mann, resigned a month ago. His successor has yet to be announced. The Hong Kong rumour mill has it that McPherson has decamped to Bank of New York, where he would head up sales for the US custodian’s recently acquired hedge fund administration business, but Bank of New York is understood not to have hired him after all. The likeliest alternative is thought to be Citco.
