Citigroup says that Robert Druskin, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Citigroup Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), has been named Chief Operating Officer of Citigroup. He will be reporting to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Chuck Prince, and will join Prince and Robert E. Rubin, Director and Chairman of the Executive Committee, as a member of the Office of the Chairman. Druskin will remain the CIB’s Chief Executive Officer and also become its Chairman.

The heads of Citigroup’s major businesses will report to the Office of the Chairman. Lew Kaden, Vice Chairman and Chief Administrative Officer, and Sallie Krawcheck, Chief Financial Officer and Head of Strategy, will continue to report to Mr. Prince.

Druskin will be succeeded in his role as President of the CIB by Michael Klein and Thomas G. Maheras, who will jointly take over the day-to-day operations of the CIB as Co-Presidents. Reporting to Klein, Chief Executive Officer, Global Banking at the CIB, will be the CIB’s Global Transaction Services business, headed by Ellen Alemany. Reporting to Maheras, Chief Executive Officer of CIB Global Capital Markets, will be the CIB’s Regional CEOs and support functions worldwide. Both will join the Citigroup Business Heads, the senior-most management group in the company, and will remain on Citigroup’s Operating and Management committees.
