Misys plc, the application software and services company, hires Richard Watrasiewicz as its Professional Services Director for Europe to run the Professional Services team and projects across the region for both the Banking and Treasury & Capital markets businesses.
Richard Watrasiewicz will contribute to Misys over 20 year experience in professional services business. His previous expertise took place at Capco, where he was instrumental in building its Wealth Management technology practice. Richard also had senior positions at Odyssey Financial Technologies and Vocalis.
Under his remit Watrasiewicz will manage Professional Services team whose goal is to ensure customers in maximising the return on the investment they make in services from Misys. The team supports Misys clients in the following areas: Technical Consultancy and Custom Development, Business Consultancy, Education and Training, Project Management.
Richard brings a vast amount of experience to the team and joins us at an exciting time where we are seeing an increase in demand for our professional services, says Stephen Turner, vice president, Global Professional Services, Misys.
