SunGard appointed Richard Huit Wednesday to serve as president of its GMI business unit.
GMI supports clearing firms, securities firms, brokerage houses and other participants in derivatives trading, including multinational agriculture and energy companies.
Based out of Chicago, Huit’s new role will have him oversee all of the company’s GMI and Octagon businesses. Octagon is a futures and derivatives processing and accounting solution for German, Swiss and central European futures clearers.
