Rhyme Systems has made two appointments to a newly formed development and support services team for Quasar customers.

The Quasar Development and Support Services Group will be headed by Jayne Goodwin, former Quasar Development Manager, who has been with the company for over 16 years.

Meanwhile, Sid Khan has been appointed head of a new product services team, charged with ensuring the current and future delivery of Quasar to its client base.

The Quasar application includes investment-modelling functions to support collective investments and has a large installed base of mainly UK investment management firms. Clients include M&G, Jupiter, Newton and Coutts.

“The new structure has also been strengthened with the appointment of Sid Khan as Head of Quasar Product Services who will be responsible for ensuring the delivery and development of services, such as implementation and staff training in line with the current and future plans of the product,” says Ian Hallam, Product Centre Manager, Rhyme Systems. “Overall this new structure will allow us to support our customers’ needs more efficiently as well as encapsulate the increasing number of activities associated with the roll out of Quasar in a more cohesive and targeted direction. We wish Sid and Jayne every success in their new roles.”

This summer, Rhyme announced the signing of a new Quasar 6 software contract with Guernsey-based fund manager Generali International Limited.

Rhyme’s customers include Lloyds TSB, Barclays, Rathbone and Brewin Dolphin.
