Reuters and its TIBCO Software subsidiary announced today that they had signed a strategic agreement with BNP Paribas Securities Services to deploy TIBCO ActiveEnterprise* to assist the bank achieve Straight Through Processing (STP).

BNPPS chose TIBCO ActiveEnterprise as the architecture to integrate its applications and business processes after an extensive technology review of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) platforms. TIBCO ActiveEnterprise is a comprehensive line of EAI products that automate business processes and lower total cost of ownership by creating an integrated network of applications, databases and information. Combined with the power of TIBCO’s technology, Reuters strong expertise and presence within the French market were key factors in BNPPSS’s decision. Reuters will work with the bank to implement the architecture.
