RBC Wealth Management, part of Royal Bank of Canada, and the 7th largest wealth manager in the world, announced that Philip Harris has been named Head of Private Client Wealth Management, British Isles, a new division in which the bank will align its client facing wealth managers in one team.
Harris will be looking to grow RBC’s platform by recruiting teams covering Eastern Europe and the Middle East. The firm’s expansion drive around its UK Domestic platform will also continue, with a number of new hires to be announced over the coming months.
Harris reports to Paul Patterson, Head of RBC Wealth Management, British Isles, who said: “Our aim is to ensure that we have the best possible platform, people and resources to position RBC Wealth Management for growth. We believe that consolidating these distribution teams into a single division, Private Client Wealth Management, will help us to provide the most consistent service and advice to our clients.”
