RBC Wealth Management Continues Latin American Team Expansion In Geneva

RBC Wealth Management, part of the Royal Bank of Canada, Canada’s largest bank and the 12th largest bank in the world, announced the hires of Santiago Cedron and Patricio Demaria to its Geneva office. They will be joining the team responsible for providing integrated wealth management services and solutions for High Net Worth clients in Latin America, and will be focusing on individuals and families in Mexico and Argentina respectively.

Cedron joins RBC Wealth Management with more than 20 years private banking experience, gained at UBS and JPMorgan. Demaria joins RBC Wealth Management with nine years private banking experience, gained at JPMorgan and Citigroup.

This announcement follows the news in July that Thomas Roiz had been hired from Citigroup to lead and expand the Latin American team at RBC Wealth Management in Geneva.

Over the last year, RBC Wealth Managements international group has hired more than six private bankers in its Geneva operation from institutions such as UBP, UBS, JPMorgan, Citibank and American Express. RBC Wealth Management has hired 1,100 people globally year to date.
