RBC Dexia Appoints New Head of Securities Lending, Unveils New Business Model

RBC Dexia Investor Services has appointed Guy dAlbrand as head of Securities Lending and unveiled its new global Market Products & Services (MPS) business model, consolidating multiple portfolio solutions under one umbrella.

DAlbrand replaces Yvonne Wyllie, however, RBC Dexia has also added to his mandate on the stock borrowing side.

DAlbrand previously worked with Socit Gnrale and Newedge, holding senior positions in their investment management and services, investment banking and brokerage units. In his new role, he will be responsible for product management and development for both securities lending and stock borrowing. He joins in January 2012 and will be located in London.

In addition to dAlbrands appointment, RBC Dexias Global MPS management team includes several other organizational changes, which the teams global head, Susan Pike, said would operate within an innovative business model to support clients growth strategies.

Morgan McDonnell, formerly head of FX Markets and Product, assumes the new role of head of Global Foreign Exchange, Cash & Credit Markets. RBC Dexias Foreign Exchange and Cash & Investment Finance (IF) product management and development teams will merge into this single unit under Morgans leadership.

Susan Coleman, currently head, Cash & IF Product Management becomes head of Cross- Product Initiatives. In this role, she will be responsible for the MPS cross-product collateral management strategy as well as other strategic growth initiatives.

RBC Dexias Global MPS team provides securities lending, foreign exchange, credit, finance and cash management services to clients. In the new model, all service delivery roles will be consolidated into one team. Fay Coroneos, formerly head of Risk & Investment Analytics, becomes head of MPS Service Delivery and will lead the team.

Blair McPherson, currently Head of Portfolio Solutions, has been appointed head of Market Product Innovation. In this key role he will be responsible for designing, developing and managing client-focused productsfrom idea origination through to prototyping and implementation.
