Rausch to Lead Transaction Banking Segments at RBC I&TS

James Rausch has joined RBC Investor & Treasury Services as head, Banks, Brokers, and Exchanges – Transaction Banking.

Rausch will be based in Toronto, with responsibility for relationship management, sales development, and product management for the three segments. The segments were combined with investor services during the formation of RBC Investor & Treasury Services following RBC’s acquisition of 50% of the joint venture from Dexia. He joins the Investor & Treasury Services Operating Committee, reporting to Chris Seip, chief operating officer.

Rausch was most recently at North American energy provider Powerex. Prior to this, he held senior roles in Infoware Software, the Toronto Stock Exchange, and Toronto Dominion Bank, with experience in cash management, client coverage, risk management, trading and corporate finance.
