The double tax treaty (DTT), concluded previously between the Republic of Korea and the Republic of Croatia, has now been ratified by both countries.
The DTT will become effective as of 1 January 2007.
“The main provisions of the DTT will be on dividends at 5 percent if the beneficial owner is a company, other than partnership, which holds directly at least 25 percent of the capital of the company paying the dividend,” says a spokesman for SEB. “It will be 10 percent in all other cases.”
