Random Walk Computing has chosen Volante Designer from Volante Technologies as the basis for its SWIFT MT103 migration solution.

Volane says the combined services and software offering will help customers in the financial industry migrate from SWIFT MT100 to MT103 message formats in time for the upcoming November 2003 deadline. T he migration package supports all new SWIFT validations and error codes , and provides message recognition and deconstruction, internal routing, integration with back-end applications, and deployment on any infrastructure .

“We chose Volante for its rich SWIFT support and its model driven approach, allowing customers to reuse models and code,” says Joel Scotkin, CEO of Random Walk Computing. “Unlike other vendor products, Volante Designer allows us to roll out messaging applications rapidly by generating implementation source code directly from the models.”

“Random Walk Computing’s selection of Volante above other competing products demonstrates that the days of old, expensive, vertically integrated, monolithic integration products from traditional vendors have come to an end,” adds Vijay Oddiraju, Chairman and founder of Volante Technologies Inc. “The Volante & Random Walk MT103 migration solution is very timely as the constraints on developmental resources that all financial services firms face today are severe.”
