Peter Felcsuti, CEO of Raiffeisen Bank Hungary, has been appointed president of the Hungarian Bank Association, replacing Tamas Erdei.
CIB Bank CEO Laszlo Torok was appointed vice president of the association, replacing FHB Bank CEO Daniel Gyuris. The appointment came after Erdei’s three-year mandate expired and the banker said hewould not accept a nomination for another mandate.
Felcsuti, 58, has been heading Raiffeisen Bank for 20 years. He started his career working for the National Bank of Hungary and later worked for Citibank before joining Raiffeisen.
Two other board members whose mandates expired said they too did not wish to take uptheir posts again: OTP Bank CEO Sandor Csanyi, who has served on the board for 14 years, and home savings bank Fundamenta Lakaskasza CEO Karoly Gergely, who has served for seven years.
