In December 2010, Raiffeisen Bank International AG (RBI) in Vienna went live on XENTIS, the Investment Management System of the Swiss software provider Profidata. RBI will be using XENTIS to support the full life-cycle of their Fund Accounting requirements.
In one weekend 400 funds with more than 600 unit certificate classifications were successfully migrated from the legacy system to XENTIS. XENTIS replaces several legacy applications, which had been in place at RBI, to manage fund accounting, investment compliance and reporting both internal and regulatory. XENTIS fulfils all of RBIs country specific requirements related to fund accounting, reporting and investment regulations.
The project scope included a thorough renewal of the existing fund administration system architecture and XENTIS, as the new core-system, was successfully integrated into this new IT landscape by a small Profidata project team.
