Building on the success of its other office locations, the software component firm Quartet Financial Systems, announces the opening of its Singapore office at 51A Amoy Street, Singapore 069877. With many of Quartet FS clients having key offices throughout the Asia-Pacific region, the new office in Singapore will provide them with further local support.
At the same time, Quartet FS also announces the appointment of David Cassonnet to head up this new Singapore location where he will be responsible for clients and new opportunities throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Previous to his new role at Quartet FS, David has held senior management roles at Misys in Asia since 2003 where he was running the Summit System Professional Service team. He therefore brings a wealth of both financial and technical knowledge in and around the financial industry, which will be invaluable for clients in getting the most out of the Quartet FS component software for their business.
We have seen fundamental changes in the banking industry in the last two years and now most financial institutions are facing tremendous pressure to not only adapt their systems to new regulations, but also new internal policies in terms of risk monitoring across all asset classes, said David Cassonnet, Quartet FS Head of Business Development in Singapore.
Quartet FS solutions have been exactly designed for such an environment. Since Quartet FS develops software components, it helps financial institutions to react quickly and provides solutions without re-inventing their current IT infrastructure. This is particularly interesting in Asia where financial organizations have invested massively in front-to-back trading platforms in the last five years and already have to adapt their systems to a new economic environment. The success of Quartet FS components ActivePivot and ActiveStream in Europe show that we have unique solutions to offer in the market today. I am very excited to open the new office in Singapore and develop the Quartet FS activities in Asia-Pacific.
