PricewaterhouseCoopers has named Gordon Medeiros as lead partner in its Transaction Services group in Minneapolis. In that role, Medeiros, 38, will work with companies in the Twin Cities and the Upper Midwest on developing and implementing merger, acquisition, divestiture and financing transactions. PwC has had a Transaction Services group in Minneapolis since 2001.

James Flanagan, PwC’s Transaction Services leader for the Americas, said, “At this point in the business cycle, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures are critical elements in the growth strategies of many companies in the Twin Cities area. The Upper Midwest is an important market for our services, with over 40 Fortune 1000 companies in the region, as well as several leading private equity funds. In his 10 years as a member of our Transaction Services group in Boston, Gordon has worked closely with multinational corporations and private equity investors on a wide range of transaction structuring, post- merger integration, and financing assignments. His expertise will be a valuable addition to PwC’s Minneapolis office and our client work in the region.”

Gordon had been a partner for five years in the Transaction Services group in Boston, where he has worked on a wide range of M&A transactions for major companies and private equity investors. His experience includes both international and domestic transactions in a wide range of industries, including technology and consumer and industrial products. Medeiros received his B.S. from Bentley College and is a Certified Public Accountant.
