State Street owned investment accounting software application provider Princeton Financial has hired Marcel de Vries as sales manager for the company’s Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. De Vries most recently was employed by Thomson Financial in London, with sales and support responsibilities. He is a graduate of the Amsterdam School of Business, with a bachelor’s degree (with honours) in international management. “With the addition of Marcel to Princeton Financial’s Windsor office, a hub of our global support and development model, we look forward to our enhanced capacity to serve the EMEA institutional investor marketplace,” says Lorne Whitmore, Princeton Financial’s Managing Director, Global Sales. Princeton Financial has been expanding in Europe, with the recent addition of OPTAS, a Rotterdam, Netherlands-based pension insurance company, and Hansabank Group, the largest financial institution in the Baltic region to its client list.
