Gavin Phillips, partner, has been appointed the new head of the London Market and Lloyd’s insurance group and a member of the UK insurance leadership team at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Gavin succeeds Philip Calnan who will continue to work with clients both in the Lloyd’s and London Market and the wider insurance sector.

Phillips has 15 years of experience in PricewaterhouseCoopers insurance and reinsurance practice, including three years spent on secondment to the US firm based in New York. During his time at the firm Phillips has undertaken assignments covering audit, financial investigation, due diligence and regulation. Phillips started his career at Lloyds of London.
