Capco today announced the appointment of Predrag Dizdarevic as Executive Vice President and Head of Capco Solutions, thereby giving a boost to its Technology Solutions business. Mr. Dizdarevic, formerly President and CEO of Financial Technologies International (FTI), will report directly to Rob Heyvaert, Chairman and CEO of Capco, and will be based in New York.
Offering innovative technology solutions as software products and through utilities has been a cornerstone of Capco’s end-to-end solutions offering. The opportunity in this space is substantial — Datamonitor estimates that IT spending for the global financial services industry is expected to grow to more than $222 billion by 2005. Mr. Dizdarevic will be responsible for coordinating the company’s vision and executing the company’s strategy around innovative, transformational technology solutions, beyond Capco’s current solutions offerings.
Capco’s strategy is to leverage its thought leadership into innovative and transformational technology solutions that address client needs in operational efficiency, new industry infrastructures, operational excellence, and customer-focused solutions. To this end, Mr. Dizdarevic will focus on further developing customized, integrated solutions for areas such as transaction processing, operational risk management, straight through processing (STP), multi-channel distribution, data management, wealth management, strategic marketing, and operational and financial performance management.

In his five years at FTI, Mr. Dizdarevic transformed FTI into a strong, profitable and innovative software provider. Prior to joining FTI, Mr. Dizdarevic held a variety of senior management positions with Computer Associates (NYSE: CA). His expertise includes new technology development, managing strategic partnerships, and defining new business directions based upon changes in the securities industry.
